Lego Titanic – 11/26/2022
One of my favorite projects I’ve worked on has got to be the Lego Titanic. Its large size and detail pair well as a mantelpiece and can be compared to a work of art.
I started it back in November of 2022 when I was stuck at home because of Covid. I’m asymptomatic so I might as well kill the week with some relaxing alone time!
The entire build took about 2 days in which was spent about 8 hours building and listening to Spotify. I probably should have invested in premium because there is no variation in ads.
After the completion of the ship, I felt that if this was going to be a centerpiece I would need to add something special. I decided to add lights to the ship. They sell lighting kits for the exact set online for what I believe is a fair price.

Eiffel Tower – 12/04/2022
The biggest set I’ve ever owned in both size and piece count. This is the second-largest set in terms of pieces Lego has released and the largest in terms of size. Reaching a soaring height of about 5 feet when assembled, this set was difficult to find forever home in the house.
This set was fun to begin with but ultimately fell off in terms of enjoyment. The set looks beautiful don’t get me wrong but the repetitiveness of creating the metal crosses took a majority of the time. I remember steps in the book that were x5 then x20 on the same page.
After completion, I also wanted to add lights but I gave up halfway through because I would have needed to disassemble so much and it wouldn’t even look that good in the end. I also started to design my own to-scale vehicles which I order parts for and placed on the bottom.

First Diorama – 07/01/2023
I don’t have much saved in terms of this project as it was my very first diorama and mainly was supposed to be a gateway into learning more about miniatures. Looking back on it, there are some things I would change but overall, I think it turned out great for being my first one. I had problems with using 2 part epoxy because no matter what I did, it always leaked everywhere even after securing plexiglass walls.
